The early days of the COVID-19 pandemic had many EMS organizations scrambling to find the operational and financial resources to ensure that they could continue to respond and care for their patients as the pandemic gained momentum. Those first few months saw an incredible sense of urgency from legislators to make financial relief available to all individuals and businesses as they battled the Coronavirus. As we enter the second stage of the pandemic response and the economy begins to reopen, many EMS agencies are now seeing a significant decrease in revenue due to the reduction in ambulance transports over the last four months. This webinar will review the financial relief that is still available to EMS organizations and will discuss the more recent efforts by legislators to ease the financial burden on U.S. businesses. Lastly, we will provide a preview and an update of the relief efforts that are still being negotiated by lawmakers.
