The American Ambulance Association’s Stars of Life honors the best of EMS—exceptional professionals whose dedication and service make a lasting impact in their communities. This year’s celebration will take place in Washington, DC, November 3–5, and across the country as organizations host their own local recognition events. Learn more about the program at stars.ambulance.org.

On October 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM ET, join us for a webinar focused on helping EMS leaders create meaningful local celebrations and maximize the visibility of their Stars. This session will cover strategies for hosting memorable medallion ceremonies, engaging family and community stakeholders, and generating positive media attention that elevates the role of EMS nationwide.

American Ambulance Association Communications Chair Alexia Jobson and Vice-Chair Randall Mann will share how their organizations are planning to honor their Stars this year—offering inspiration and practical, real-world tips you can adapt for your own teams.

In this session, participants will learn how to:

  • Plan impactful local recognition events, including medallion ceremonies
  • Involve family members, colleagues, and local leaders
  • Build relationships with media to highlight EMS contributions
  • Ensure Stars feel celebrated both locally and nationally

Important Note: Medallions will be shipped to ALL host organizations during the first week of October, following the September 30 registration deadline.
