EAS Scholarship

The American Ambulance Association State EMS Leadership Scholarship Fund helps expand access to the EMS Association Summit by providing financial assistance to state EMS association leaders. Through this program, leaders from across the country can connect with peers, exchange ideas and best practices, and gain valuable insights and resources to bring back to their state associations.

Up to 16 scholarships are expected to be awarded to help offset registration, travel, lodging, and other eligible expenses. Awards will be based on available funding and applicant needs.

Who Is Eligible?

Applicants must:

  • Currently serve in a leadership role with a state EMS association, such as an elected officer, board member, executive director, or committee chair
  • Demonstrate that attending the Summit would not otherwise be funded by their employer, agency, or association without creating a financial hardship
  • Be available to attend the full Summit

Individuals applying solely on behalf of a private company, single EMS agency, or without affiliation with a state EMS association are not eligible.

Scholarship Priority

All eligible state EMS association leaders are encouraged to apply. When reviewing applications, additional consideration may be given to:

  • First-time Summit attendees
  • Leaders representing smaller or lower-budget associations
  • Applicants from states not otherwise represented at the Summit
  • Applicants who demonstrate a clear plan to share Summit insights, resources, or lessons with their state association
