Rebecca Williamson

Rebecca is the Chairman of the American Ambulance Association’s Medicare Regulatory Committee and is also a member of the American Ambulance Association Ethics Committee. Rebecca is a founding board member, and Immediate Past President of the Oklahoma Ambulance Association. She previously served on the Oklahoma Emergency Response Development Advisory Committee and the Governor’s Task Force on EMS Readiness. Rebecca is also an active board member for several other regulatory and civic organizations. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, an Associates Degree in Nursing, is a nationally certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner in both Adults and Pediatrics, and is a Nationally Registered Paramedic. Before joining Pafford EMS as Chief Compliance Officer, she worked for Muskogee County EMS for 25 years, serving as the Chief Compliance Officer and HIPAA Privacy Officer for 17 years. Rebecca is responsible for development, leadership, implementation, and administration of all compliance and HIPAA policies and procedures. Rebecca’s expertise is in documentation, compliance, and privacy issues and she, along with Brian Werfel, Esq., co-authored the AAA Documentation Manual.

Angela McLain

Angela McLain currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Revenue Officer for Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) of Oklahoma, a high performance high volume, public utility model EMS agency serving communities across Northeast and Central Oklahoma. Angie’s more than 20 years of experience in healthcare financial services has focused on the strategic development and management of revenue cycle operations to include; comprehensive patient account management, revenue performance improvement and implementation of monitoring controls and strategies. In addition, Angela also has extensive experience in all elements of healthcare compliance and accreditation in both the hospital and EMS industry, ensuring organizational business practices exceed regulatory standards and support the provision of excellent patient care. Angie holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management, focused on health care reimbursement, and has an advanced degree in Health and Human Services. She has used her experience and expertise in healthcare finance and healthcare management to help establish EMS industry standards through active roles on multiple state and national boards; serving as with the Oklahoma Ambulance Association and as Region 4 Director with the American Ambulance Association.
